2025 CoSeC Conference

We’re excited to announce that the 2025 CoSeC Annual Conference will take place on Wednesday 3rd December at the Manchester Central Convention Complex. This event is part of the wider Computing Insight UK (CIUK) conference, organised by STFC’s Scientific Computing Department.

Now in its fifth year, the conference will highlight the research and achievements of the CoSeC communities over the past year. The day will open with an introduction from our CoSeC Director, Stephen Longshaw, followed by presentations from collaborators on a range of topics. We’ll also be announcing our 2025 CoSeC Fellows during the event.

This is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the progress we’ve made and to address the increasingly complex challenges in scientific computing today.

We’re currently inviting talk and poster abstracts for the conference. Key deadlines are:

• 31 October 2025 for presentations
• 16 November 2025 for posters

Successful applicants will receive free access to the CIUK event.
