Computing Insight UK 2025

Date: 4th December 2025
Location: Manchester Central Convention Complex

Computing Insight UK 2025 (CIUK 2025) will take place at Manchester Central Convention Complex on Thursday 4 and Friday 5 December 2025. The theme for the conference is Computing Unites.

The conference will include two full days of presentations about high performance computing and associated science and research, alongside the CIUK exhibition with fifty exhibitors showcasing the latest hardware and software releases.  A series of parallel breakout sessions will explore the latest “hot topics” and include some relevant user group meetings. We will welcome students and early career researchers competing in the CIUK Cluster Challenge and poster competition. An early career researcher will also be recognised as the CIUK Jacky Pallas Memorial Award winner for 2025, and look out for our annual Women in HPC Breakfast.

As with previous years CIUK 2025 will also include some “Day Zero” activities taking place on Wednesday 3 December before the official conference begins. This will include the annual CoSeC Conference highlighting the collaborative work of the CoSeC programme, with more activities being added soon.

Finally, don’t miss our networking opportunities which this year will include the pre-CIUK networking event at Gas Works on Wednesday 3 December and the official CIUK networking event at The Albert Hall on Thursday 4 December.
